Treynor, Iowa-based TS Bank donated $5,000 to the Fitch Family Indoor Aquatic Center in Ames, Iowa.
The donation will be used to build an accessible indoor aquatic facility. The Aquatic Center will span 38,900 square feet, and have a zero-depth entry pool, current channel and wellness pool. The aquatics portion of the building will include a unique body slide connecting indoor and outdoor areas. The facility will offer two multi-purpose rooms for youth and adult activities.
A groundbreaking ceremony is slated for April 24, with plans to open The Fitch Family Indoor Aquatic Center in the fall of 2025. “We are so grateful for the generosity TS Bank has shown by supporting the Fitch Family Indoor Aquatic Center — a facility that will afford residents of Ames, Story County and the surrounding area the opportunity to experience lifelong aquatic programs and activities,” said Ames Director of Parks and Recreation Keith Abraham.
