Kansas City, Mo.-based UMB Financial Corp. promoted Liz Lewis to president of consumer banking as she continues serving as chief marketing officer.
Lewis, who has more than 20 years of financial services experience, was previously senior vice president for commercial and retail lines at Lenexa, Kan.-based CommunityAmerica Credit Union. She joined UMB Bank as chief marketing officer last May.
UMB Bank President and CEO Jim Rine said Lewis’ “extensive experience in leading consumer, commercial and product divisions at other financial institutions uniquely positions her to effectively lead our consumer division.
“Since joining UMB last year, Liz has quickly demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities and a deep understanding of our business as well as the invaluable and strategic role these disciplines and our associates play in growing and fostering strong customer relationships,” Rine added.
