Waukesha State Bank adds 3 to board of directors

Wisconsin-based Waukesha State Bank has added Donna Bembenek, Laura Gutierrez and Sarit Singhal to its board of directors. 

The additions were announced Feb. 17. Bembenek is the president of Waukesha-based Catholic Memorial High School; Gutierrez is the executive director of the Milwaukee-based United Community Center; and Singhal is the president and CEO of the Milwaukee IT firm SSR/Total IT. 

Bembenek has leadership experience at publicly traded and closely held companies as well as nonprofits. She has an MBA from Alverno College, a bachelor’s degree in public relations and marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and attended the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. Prior to joining the United Community Center, Gutierrez served as secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services. She has a master’s degree in leadership and policy from Marquette University and a bachelor’s degree from Carroll University. Singhal has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a minor in computer science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He founded SSR/Total IT in 1996.
