Wis. bank breaks (cold) ground

Waukesha State Bank, Waukesha, Wis., held a groundbreaking ceremony on Nov. 7 to kick off its construction of the bank’s Menomonee Falls, Wis., office, scheduled to open the summer of 2020.

“We are very pleased to soon serve Menomonee Falls’ vibrant and growing community with our newest office,” said Ty R. Taylor, president and CEO of the $965 million bank. “We’re confident that we can meet the expanding needs of Menomonee Falls’ residents and businesses with our one-on-one, personalized approach to banking and our comprehensive list of products and services.

The new banking space will have an open design, including meeting and private office space, and 2,233 square feet of leasable prime tenant space. More than 700 square feet will be used as a community room, where non-profit organizations can have access free of charge.

The 14th Waukesha State Bank in Waukesha county is scheduled to be built immediately. The full-service Menomonee Falls office is set to be more than 5,500 square feet, designed by AG Architecture.
