Bridgewater Bank names Grotbo senior VP

Minnesota’s Bridgewater Bank has hired Tom Grotbo as senior vice president, commercial lending.

Grotbo has more than 15 years of commercial lending experience with several Twin Cities’ banks. He most recently served as senior vice president commercial lending at Edina-based Tradition Capital Bank. Prior to that, he was with MidCountry Bank, Bloomington, and worked as an accountant for Minneapolis-based commercial real estate development firm Opus.

He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Carroll College in Helena, Mont. 

“Tom is an excellent addition to our expanding team of commercial lenders serving the Twin Cities,” said Nick Place, chief lending officer at St. Louis Park-based Bridgewater Bank. “Adding local talent like Tom helps us continue to offer the responsive support and simple solutions Bridgewater is known for.”

 The $3.4 billion Bridgewater has seven branches in the Twin Cities Metro area.
