Missouri’s Progressive Ozark Bank, Salem, is opening a branch in Licking, Mo., in a building formerly occupied by a branch of Landmark Bank.

Landmark was bought last year by Simmons Bank, Pine Bluff, Ark., and some of its 21 Missouri branches were closed as part of the deal.

The Licking office, tentatively scheduled to open in July, will be the bank’s fifth branch. Progressive Ozark is also building a branch in Mansfield, Mo., scheduled to open in September.

The $116 million Ozark Progressive Bank has offices in Salem, Houston, Hartville and Mountain Grove, Mo. The bank had $1.8 million in net income in 2019, down from $2 million 2018.
